  First to report a product in your metro area within 7 days. Breaking news pays.

  Report a sighting most days. The bonus grows (+5, +8, +10, +12) up to +15/day at a 5-day streak. The streak is forgiving: missing a single day no longer breaks it (two missed days in a row resets it).

Tiers

Badges & Awards

Badges are prestige awards you earn for meaningful milestones across hunting and building your collection. Most also grant a small, automatic one-time Hunter Score bonus. They recognize genuine collectors and quality contributors, on top of the points above.

• Collection badges, and the Hunter Score bonuses they grant, count verified cars only: cars you have confirmed with a live photo on your Collection page. Photo verification is a Premium feature.
• Most badges have progressive tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and beyond for the biggest milestones), and each tier you reach grants a slightly larger Hunter Score bonus.
• Your earned badges and progress toward the next tier are shown on the Awards tab of your Hunter Score. Some badges start locked until you make progress.

Anti-Scalper & Anti-Bot Rules

• New users start at Scout tier, so their restock alerts are delayed 5 minutes (the delay shrinks as you climb tiers, down to instant at Legend).
• Low-score users receive aggregated sightings; high-score users get near-real-time access.
• Sighting points are capped at 50 per day. Photo and no-photo sightings, plus the Rare Find and Pioneer bonuses, all count toward this cap. Restock reports, streak, weekly, and badge bonuses do not.
• Diminishing returns keep big days fair: your first 3 sightings each day earn full value, and the 4th onward earns half (until you hit the daily cap). Days reset at midnight UTC.
• Suspicious activity (rapid-fire requests, device fingerprint mismatch) triggers CAPTCHA challenges.
• Verified false reports trigger an immediate -75 point penalty (-150 for a falsely claimed rare find).
• Scalper/bot flags (via community report + review) result in -150 points and potential access restriction.
• Premium and Founder buy a faster baseline (a 2 min / 1 min alert floor), never instant. Only climbing Hunter Score tiers takes you down to instant, so the fastest alerts are always earned, not bought.

Good to Know

• Anonymous sightings earn no Hunter Score, and risk none either. A report you submit anonymously cannot be credited or penalized.
• A sighting that reaches 5 community false-report flags is automatically hidden, and its reporter takes the -75 point penalty above.
• Deleting one of your own sightings within 30 days gives back the points it earned, including any Rare Find or Pioneer bonus. This stops anyone erasing a report to dodge a false-report penalty while keeping the points. Sightings that survive the 30 day window keep their points.
• The Rare Find bonus needs the photo and the AI match, so it can't be claimed by hand. The Pioneer bonus only goes to the first report of a product in your metro area each week.
• The bonus awards above (Suggestion Shipped, Missing Product Added, Inaccuracy Fixed, Bug Fixed) are granted once our team confirms and resolves the report you submitted.
